Hi, I am Agustin, nice to meet you!

I am a product designer and digital fabrication educator currently living in Madrid, Spain. Born in Argentina and living in Spain since I was a kid, I grew up drawing, inventing with Lego and taking apart old machines to learn how they worked.

I have been working around digital fabrication since 2013. I am passionate about developing simple and accessible products, collaborating as a designer and betatester with industry leading companies such as Ultimaker, BCN3D and BQ Readers. As an educator, I consider the design process and project documentation as the most important aspects involved in the learning experience.

I have a graphic design background, and I’m specialized in 2D/3D design, laser cutting, 3D printing, product photography, and digital communication. In 2018 I started Plastic Smoothie, a design project focused on accessible design and creative recycling where I have the chance to have a positive impact on the environment.

I have been named 3D Designer of the Year in the 3D Printing Industry Awards 2017, and I have been featured in The Economist, All3DP, Hackaday, Muy Interesante, and El Correo.

I am currently working as Fab Lab Manager and educator at TecnoLab La Rueca, and also as Associate Professor at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
